Hawthorn Suites provides a host of sales and marketing programs, promotions and initiatives to build your business including consumer and electronic marketing, global and field sales support, and public relations.

Global and Field Sales

Hawthorn Suites believes working as a team, we have the unique opportunity to capture business on a local and national level.

Our Field Sales Support program is a powerful initiative at the local level, designed to build awareness and drive incremental room nights. Complimentary to all franchisees, the program is aimed at giving the highest level of support by providing hands-on assistance. The program targets corporate decision-makers to generate significant transient and extended-stay business.

Hawthorn Suites field sales directors provide value to individual hotels by uncovering incremental opportunities for growth. This includes reviewing market demand generators, current competitive sets and rate positions and setting appointments. They also spend time one-on-one in the hotel's marketplace to research and conduct a full schedule of qualified sales calls.

Upon completion of the field service director's visit, franchisees receive a "Success Plan" with calls made and suggested follow-up steps. The plan also includes valuable information about the targeted companies with potential annualized room nights. A series of follow up phone calls and on-site mentoring highlighting specific recommendations are coordinated upon completion of the Success Plan.

Hyatt Global Sales

The Hyatt Global Sales team represents Hawthorn Suites and all Hyatt brands in their efforts to promote the brands to travel managers, government and military agencies and departments, travel agencies and extended stay decision-makers.

Consumer and Electronic Marketing

Benefit from our strategic marketing efforts and targeted initiatives that utilize the combined power of print, on-air and online marketing tactics as well as cooperative partner programs and promotions to drive awareness, trial and brand loyalty. This includes the Hawthorn Suites hotel directory, our brand web site www.hawthorn.com, paid search engine marketing campaigns, affiliate marketing, ad network advertising, AAA and Smith Travel Research partnerships. Hawthorn hotels also enjoy a number of targeted Internet rate initiatives including our Weekend Rate Promotion and our Sweet Suite Rates!®.

Public Relations

Hawthorn Suites public relations efforts are designed to promote the brand and individual hotels through all types of public relations media opportunities. Coverage includes, but is not limited to, new hotel openings, brand-wide initiatives, local and national marketing programs and other promotions and important local hotel milestones.
